family sharing shuts off automatically after about a week

I have 2 apple watches an iPhone 14pro, iPhone 15, a new iPad (146) and 2 MacBooks one pro one air. Family sharing is on and linked to all of them. at the end of the week 1/2 of them, the wife's collection shuts off/disconnects family sharing all by it's self . I have to go to family sharing in settings and turn on the share switch every time it does this. what am I missing? can't I permanently turn on family sharing?
