iOS 17.6.1 News Widget reporting ‘No News’

iPhone’s news app shows ‘No News’ in the UK, but I have the latest iOS (I.e. 17.6.1).

I’ve tried removing the widget, shutting down and rebooting, then re-adding the widget. Still nothing!

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you use VPN? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile.

I am experiencing the same.. it’s not showing anything and I don’t even use VPN at all..

iOS 17.6.1 (re-released)

smh Apple.. they really can’t release a fully functional OS.
