Iphone 15 battery swollen

My iPhone 15's battery randomly got swollen when i've only had it for about a month. Last time I checked my phone the battery capacity said 100%. Would I still have to pay for it to get replace because it just swelled up randomly or would Apple fix it for free because I think it was a material defect or something like that.

iPhone 15, iOS 17

Power off the phone.

Make an appointment at the Apple Store or take the phone to an authorized Apple service shop immediately.
