For many years, my wife and I used the same Apple ID. About a year ago, we created a separate Apple ID for my wife. However, our family sharing Apple ID for organizer (me) says my wife's name and I can't change it. It also makes my Apple watch and my phone display "good morning wife's name" rather than mine. My phone name says my name as does my Apple ID but I can't make it change these. Any idea how I can fix this?

From your description the name on your first Apple ID account - which is the one used to set up your family group - would seem to be your wife's? Have you tried to change it on the Manage Apple ID page?
You can inspect and edit this by signing into your Apple ID account and clicking on the Personal Information label on the left. Here you can edit the name and date of birth.
Thanks for the help. When I do as you state, it shows my name. I have tried to edit it to make a change and see if that addresses the problem but it does not.
