If your iPad is unresponsive, connect your iPad to its Power Adapter and allow the iPad to charge undisturbed format least an hour. Then, while still connected to external power, try a forced restart:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If iPad still doesn’t turn on, or if it gets stuck during start up, review this Apple Support article: If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won’t turn on or is frozen.

Or if your iPad isn’t working correctly after you restart it, see the iPad Support website.

I was just counterarguing a line of the rule you sent.

Attribution where you use content produced by others is a courtesy to its author; you might at least post a link to the original content where the author is identified.

So, let's say a solution to a problem is "Restart your iPad" and if that suggestion was first made by LotusPilot here, everyone who recommends that solution has to reference you even though that solution is even in the Apple Support Page? I am not getting the logic here and quite frankly I don't even know why this has to be an argument.

We are all apple users just trying to help one another. So long as people get the help they need, isn't that what matters? I personally don't think there is anything wrong with the way I helped the user but if you say that that somehow offended you, then I am sorry.

I am done arguing. And I might get banned for arguing with one of their precious Level 10s but whatever.

So long as the user gets the help they need does it matter? What did you want me to add? By LotusPilot at the end and where exactly should that have been added? Or are you here just for the glory?

Next time, if I don't want to repeat any info while lurking around here, I will remember to attribute the content to you. Happy?

Okay, I have read it and under the same line:

Apple has the right, but not the obligation, to remove any Submission that is wholly or substantially created by using generative AI tools. Generative AI tools include image generators (such as Midjourney or Stable Diffusion), large language models (such as GPT-4, PaLM, or Claude), code generation tools (such as Copilot), audio generation tools (such as VALL-E or resemble.ai.), or any other tool or system that primarily functions to automatically generate content or answers for a user.

I don't see where it says you can't recommend a solution made by one user to another especially when the recommendation was taken from Apple Support page.

You are not AI are you?

Out of interest, have you read the Apple Support Community Terms of Use - to which you agreed when you created your account here? You'll find the link at the bottom of every ASC page - but to save you looking:
