All my tabs are gone after an OS update

I have over 200+ tabs open (don't judge me, I was dealing with something personal and like the chaos) the night before, but the next day it's all gone. I thought that it would all be in the recently closed section but they're not. And this was after an update. Now I lost every tabs with no idea which ones were open since they're clearly not in the recently closed tab. I thought about the backups but the problem is that the last time I backed up my iPad was a month ago? Maybe even longer? And I can't afford to lose anything more now.

I use Chrome on my iPad, and this is how I find my lost tabs. *Sorry the screen pic came out so large!*

I open a new tab, which brings me to what you see below. If you look down to the 3rd row, you’ll see where you can click on “Recent Tabs” or “History.”

Then I open a new tab, click on “Recent Tabs,” scroll to and click on the tab you’re missing.

I am a tab person, too, and after this last update 08/2024, I have lost the black area above the tabs, and the outline of each tab is missing. I don’t like the look of this new look.
