Logic is only recording from one input source even though several inputs are selected

So please bear with me.

Whenever I go to record multiple tracks at once logic it is only recording input 1, regardless of where I have the input set.

For example, if I have three tracks and all of my inputs and outputs are set correctly. Track 1, 2 and 3 will all just be whatever input is going to Track 1 recording through all 3. Now if I disconnect input 1 from my interface, nothing will work. I also tried this on two different interfaces and ran into the same problem, so it can't be the hardware.

I have never heard of this problem before and no one I know, knows how to fix it. I also uninstalled logic and all of the drivers for my interface and that hasn't fixed the problem,.

I'm working on the latest version of Logic, Mac OS Sonoma 14.5 and my interface is a Tascam 16x08 with all the up to date drivers.

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 14.5
