pick up an interrupted podcast, no listen now tab

Whenever a podcast is interrupted, it disappears from screen or selection, so that I cannot return to it. Instead I am offered the most recent podcasts in my subscriptions.

How can the most recently played podcast be located, or can it?

Various suggestions here and elsewhere mention the "listen now" tab at the far right of the screen. I find no such icon on ANY Podcasts screen. Available Icons L to R: Home, Browse, Library and Search.

Alternatively, is is possible to set podcasts to return to an interrupted article rather than to move on to the most recently added ones? (I know they can be saved, but that is not always possible for practical.
