The heart monitor in my Apple Watch SE 2nd gen has suddenly stopped working

Same thing happened to my se after the 10.6.1 update. Tried the force restart but didn’t work. Hoping apple releases an update soon cause this has happened to a lot of se watches

So, after several attempts on my own I went to Apple support. Eventually spoke with two representatives. While the first agent was nice, they could not resolve the issue and escalated the matter. Was bumped up to second agent. They did a scan of my watch and indicated that two of my sensors in my watch were bad and that my options would be to either repair the watch or replace the watch. The Agent indicated that the repair of watch would most likely be at or above the cost of a replacement. I find it odd that my sensors went out at the same time that the update was made.

I’d take it to an Apple Store or contact Apple Support and let them diagnose your issue.

Following as my Apple Watch SE has done the same thing. Stopped taking bpm in June. I have reset and no changes.

I’d try doing it once or twice more. It doesn’t always work the first time. Make sure you’re doing the forced restart and not just turning your devices off and on.
