Recommendation for good,stable and free VPN for both MacBook and Windows?

Why do you think you need a VPN? Unless you are using one to access a secure server with your employer or school (in which case they will ordinarily provide one) or you're living in a country with an oppressive regime, they are not necessary. Despite what companies who offer them say, they do not improve your safety or security. And, in the case of "free" VPNs, they probably reduce it because the company has to do something to earn money and that's probably selling your data.

Do oppressive "regimes" include Disney+ and BBC? Avoiding geo-blocks is a legit use case.
