Lost how?
What happened with your iPod?
Did you try to sync?
You need to explained exactly what happened that caused this loss, before anyone can offer any help.
Most steps for Mac will work for Windows in iTunes or even the new Devices App.

You either corrupted something when moving the folder, or if you have iTunes installed, it may have synced the iTunes library on the PC and removed everything from the iPod.
Try the following and see if you can at least find the Music folder on the iPod, that way you can copy it out onto the PC at least and recreate the library.
click here ➜ Recover media from an iPod - Apple Community
If you have the music folders on the PC now, you will need to import all the music files into iTunes and then sync the library back onto the iPod again.
click here ➜ Import media from a computer to iTunes on PC - Apple Support
then here ➜ Sync music between your Windows device and iPhone, iPad, or iPod - Apple Support
You may need to manually recreate the library from the music files in the recovered folders though.

Perhaps you should explain in details the issue you're having.
Here's what happened:
I was listening to music that has been on my IPOD forever. The IPOD was connected via USB to my Windows 11 PC. Everything was going well for weeks. Then one day, I used the file explorer to look at the folders that were actually on the IPOD. I "think" I may have inadvertently moved a folder in one of the IPOD list on the PC. My finger tends to double tap occasionally. Now nothing appears on my IPOD at all.
Maybe you can read my previous reply. I got the F00 to f49 folders onto my PC (after several hours) but how do I now recreate the library on the IPOD?
Thanks, your advice steered me in the right direction!
Thank you Philo124! I will try that next.
