Touch ID stopped working post macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 update on my MacBook Air

Hello, i am Alexander and i have a MacBook Air 2018 late with Sonoma 14.6.1 update. Since i have update my macbook air i have problems with my touch id. I cannot register new fingers and my actual finger print not working.

Touch ID Hello, I cannot add my finger or use Touch ID after this most recent update (macOS 13.2.1). Is this just an issue within the update? Please PLEASE please do not refer me to the support link for issues with Touch ID because I have viewed it and it doesn't work. My MacBook Air is clean, fingers clean, and I have done everything the support page suggests.

Touch ID on new Mac 15" keeps failing The Touch ID on my new Mac 15" will work the first few times, then stops working. I've reset it a few times. and checked for updates. Super frustrating for a Mac that is just 3 weeks old.

Brand new MacBook Air received not even an hour ago. Worked fine for initial enrollment then not after update (mainstream, not beta). Unacceptable.
