Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

Rename iCloud email on my primary account on an iPhone on iOS 17.

In previous versions of iOS, you were able to rename iCloud based mail accounts. This is no longer the case in iOS 15 (and now 17) at least it cannot be done the way it could be done previously.

Can someone verify if this can no longer done? Or, if it can be accomplished, how?

Instructions from the link below have no effect. I have renamed the account to my name and it still appears as iCloud in email and everywhere else.
