Your tag line says that you have an iPhone 7 running iOS 15. You can update the iPhone 7 to the latest release of iOS 15. You cannot update it to iOS 16 or higher.

I am sorry to inform you, but the iPhone 7 is basically obsolete when it comes to an update beyond the ios15. To get past the 15 update you will have to unfortunately upgrade your device. The iPhone 7 will no longer be of use for updated abilities beyond the iOS 15.
