Fan doesn't stop running on my MacBook Air 2019 after the Sonoma 14.6.1 update

First, to point out the obvious; I have an old MacBook Air 2019, so yes I don't expect much of it. However, after updating to Sonoma 14.6.1 my fan doesn't seem to turn off at all. It's not a loud noise, like when im doing a heavy task, but it's a noise that's always there and doesn't seem to go away. My Mac isn't even hot! I tried resetting SMC (multiple times), deleted a lot of stuff (almost half of my storage is empty), checked activity monitor (nothing unusual), tried it with different levels of battery charge, changed to a non HD static wallpaper, closed all tabs and everything (including apps running in the background), I use it on a desk and the room is cold (the Mac is also not hot), yet I can't seem to get the noise sound to stop. It's a relatively low sound (from the fan), but it still bothers me because it wasn't there before, and once you notice it in a quiet room, you can't stop noticing it. I'd be more than happy with any tips I can get. Thank you in advance!

I am literally having this issue right now. My MacBook Pro was rebooting after the 14.6.1 update and it started making a horrible loud fan noise that didn’t stop. I’ve never heard this noise before and the sound is so bad I am afraid to turn it back on. WTH did this update do?
