Deleting member from the family group

My husband passed away and he was the organizer of the family group. In the process of taking care of his personal belongings, his Apple phone was factory reset and given back to the provider. I now have an apple 15 Pro Max and a 10th generation iPad. I need to know how I can delete my husband from the family group, and delete my grandson from the family group. The group consisted of my husband, myself, and our grandson. What do I need to do to make this happen?
