How are you trying to shut it off? Have you tried "Siri, turn off Do Not Disturb"? Or, you can go to the Control Center and tap on the picture icon on the Focus button. Don't press, just tap. And don't tap on the word.

You should also go to Settings>Focus>Do Not Disturb and make sure that you have nothing enabled under "Set a Schedule" and that Smart Activation is turned off.

Here are my screen for Do Not Distrub. As far as I'm concerned is is a useless feature.

Do Not Put People in it or Apps

In Options, turn everything off

Set a schedule and then turn it off . Mine is 11:59 PM to 12:00 AM Everyday of the week.



On the Focus Filters do not add anything. Always on Display (Turn it Off)

Do not follow the advice by loth52 to Reset All Settings. That's kind of a nuclear option. It can take a lot of time to put everything back the way you want it. It's also highly unlikely to be necessary.

That user is pasting in generic "solutions" probably derived from ChatGPT or similar.
