Random dropouts in audio - it was fine a minute ago...

Recorded a client in studio without issue. Audio track was fine. I am curious what settings others use, but the settings I have used work well.

Then:

Took a five minute break so they could get some water, use the restroom, whatever. No changes were made to GB settings.

The next audio track (this is meditation audio ex. yoga) was FULL of dropouts at the beginning and end of the voice segments. Her speech did not change between the two sections - she spoke exactly the same.

But in the second one, there are noticeable dropouts which I now have to go back and manually repair.

Anyone else have this happen and if so, how did you resolve?

Thanks,

JF
