Delete multiple songs at once on Windows laptop

Anyone know how to delete multiple songs at one time? After some web searching, I was under the impression multiple songs can be deleted at one time using a computer. I am using a Windows laptop, but still can't get rid of more than one song at a time. I figured out how to highlight multiple songs at once, but there is not an option to remove highlighted items. A Spotify switch is sounding very appealing right now.
