Apple Watch Series 9 won’t update

Hi! I’ve had my Apple Watch since Christmas and have had no issues until I tried to update it to 10.5. It is a series 9 and I have tried every fix available I have found online. I have even gone as far to completely set it back up as new, restart both my phone and watch and it still won’t update it’s telling me “unable to verify no internet access” when it’s connected to the internet. I have completely exhausted all options and don’t know what to do. Please help.

First and foremost is the watch paired to an iPhone or is it standalone? Since it is saying no internet connection make sure WiFi has not somehow been turned off on the watch or that Airplane Mode has accidentally been turned on.

Airplane mode is off, I have restarted the watch. Factory reset it as well twice actually and tried the update again - nothing. I have also uninstalled every app on it at one point (even though the storage wasn’t full) and tried the update. Unpaired and repair it, and reset my phone multiple times.
