Music / iTunes won't now recognise my Music Media folder location...

My old iMac is playing up and on opening Music (iTunes) recently I received an error message that effectively told me my Music Media folder location was faulty in some way. All of my music had disappeared.

I have my Music folder on a seperate SSD and the location (Elements/Music) appears to still be the same in the Files section of Preferences and I've not moved the folder. When I rip a CD sure enough it rips it to the Elements/Music folder. I've tried using the 'Change...' and Reset options but neither have made a difference. Can anyone please suggest a way that my iMac might recognise my Music folders once again?

Cheers.

I'm using a 27-inch, Late 2013 iMac running Catalina Version: 10.15.7 and Version 1.0.6.10 of Music.

iMac 27″, macOS 10.15
