Apple doesn't send technical support messages EVER. So if you get one, it's 100% NOT from Apple.

Here are some tips to help you identify legitimate emails and texts from Apple:
* Check the sender's address: Legitimate Apple emails will always come from an address that ends with "@apple.com." Be wary of emails with similar-looking addresses, such as "@appIe.com" or "@apple.co."
* Beware of urgency or threats: Phishing emails often create a sense of urgency or threaten to suspend your account if you don't take immediate action. Apple's legitimate emails will have a neutral tone and provide clear instructions.
* Don't click on links in suspicious emails: If you're unsure about an email, don't click on any links it contains. Instead, go to the official Apple website (https://www.apple.com/) and sign in to your account directly.
* Apple won't ask for personal information via email: Apple will never ask for your password, credit card information, or other sensitive details through email.
* Verify suspicious texts: If you receive a text message claiming to be from Apple, you can verify its legitimacy by contacting Apple Support directly.
That’s easy. If it says it came from Apple, it’s almost certainly a scam that did NOT come from Apple.
