Support with HMRC Basic Tools submissions

I am having issues with submissions of HMRC Basic Tools. Since the new update in January where the programme opens in a webpage it keeps saying error and I have spoken to HMRC and they believe its a problem with Apple and multiple updates, where the programme can not keep up. I was hoping that someone else has had the same issue and has rectified the problem? I have set the programme to open in Chrome, Safari and Firefox but still no luck.

I would appreciate any feed back
