How to regain control of HomePod volume after a power outage?

Power went out then came back on (idk if that has anything to do with it) try to play music on my HomePods and it shows that it’s playing on my phone but I can’t raise the volume up from my phone and HomePod isn’t even lit up. When I try to turn up the volume on the HomePod itself it replies by saying “ok here’s a station just for you” and nothing plays but it does change the music “airplaying” on my phone. From my Apple TV it says that it couldn’t connect to HomePods. Tried unplugging and plugging it back in and restarting it from the Home App and nothing seems to be working. Going on a week like this now
