Is it possible to back up a Bootcamp partition on iMac?

Hello, I wanted to see how to back up a bootcamp partition since I could be switching my iMac off of a HDD in place of an SSD. I've heard that they're faster than Hard Drives which seems like a nice upgrade for the iMac. Since I use windows quite often and don't want to lose my data, I was wondering if it was possible to back it up? I know winclone exists, but it isn't exactly free so I won't be using that option.
