I have done this before when I could transfer to iTunes. But not that iTunes has been move to Apple Music, following the same steps that I have done hundreds of times isn't working. I just want to send the song and not the entire project so that I can play the song from my PC.

I cannot test on a PC, as I am only having Macs, but have you tried to send the audio file by Mail?
