Exporting exact saved files to Loopy HD

In Garageband when I want to export a drum track regardless of how many bars I want to use to Loopy HD. The file is saved with extra bars extended past the orginal length of bars the I've selected. This leaves me with silence at the end of the loop for approx 2 bars or 5 secs until the loop starts again. Any fixes for this?
