I pod classic and IPod touch won’t show up in finder

I have a iPod nano classic and a IPod touch and I tried connecting both of them using a usb hub and they did not show up in finder. Then I tried putting my IPod nano in disk mode and it still didn’t show.i also tried using the lighting to usb c on the touch and it said the accessory wasn’t supported and of course didn’t show up in finder.I tried restarting my MacBook a few times and that didn’t work either. I even went to a windows computer I have, and installed iTunes and the apple device app and both IPods did not show up and didn’t even show up as drivers. I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this. I am running Sonma btw.
