I finished a very important 12 minute video for a company I am working for, and when I click on any method of exporting the file (share button at top right, file > share, or the three dots next to the file) it simply doesn't do anything. It has suddenly done this for all of the movies I have, so everything is stuck on iMovie. I recently upgraded to MacOS Sequioa Beta, but do not know how to downgrade without losing the movie
Try deleting the Preferences (aka Settings).
Hold down the Option and Command keys as you launch iMovie until a window appears . . . then press the Delete button.
It is possible that iMovie may open without any projects. If this happens, navigate to the iMovie Library and double click it to open it.
