Hi Apple Support,
I was recording my screen on my MacBook M2, but I accidentally shut down the computer without stopping the recording. When I turned it back on, I couldn't find the screen recording in the Finder.
Could you please help me locate or recover the screen recording? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

sorry, but whenever a recording is interrupted, it is usually gone.
it is a long shot, but you can try going into Apple Menu > Finder > Go > Go to Folder.
and in the resulting window, type in "~/Library/ScreenRecordings/" without the quotation marks.
but there might not be anything in there.
