I had a good music track and wanted to make it better, but after a while realized that it was better how it was. So I pressed command Z continuously to restore it but it just wouldn't undo after a while. Now my project is really bad 😭😭

I tried using time machine after you suggested, but it's not working the way all the tutorials are saying. When I enter time machine, I am not able to go back in time, for anything in fact, not just my GarageBand project.I tried clicking the up arrow and the bar on the right side, but none of them are moving even one day back in time. What do I do now?
I'm on macOS Big Sur.
Here's a view of the top bar on GarageBandBy the way, I am trying every day, and time machine is not moving even a day back, not just for GarageBand but even for other documents, Desktop, Downloads, Icloud drive or anything else...
Is a software update to macOS Ventura any helpful?

Could you just open Finder (not Time Machine) and select your backup drive in the sidebar? Take a screenshot (hide your personal infos.) This should show us the various backups you have on that drive.
What OS are you on?
Does GB have Document->revert to previous version (or whatever it is called)
