Reset my iPad, updated it, reset it again, tried three different apps (Files, Procreate, Clip Studio) and the ability to share any images to any recipient is still greyed out. When putting in text such as "A" it does activate the post, but then only sends the text, not the image.
iCloud is also suddenly delayed in its syncing, using files from hours ago even though they have been overwritten with new art.

Thank god, I'm not alone. I have the exact same issue. Been sharing drawings from procreate and other drawing apps directly to discord for the last 3 years but today the post button is grey and if I write a message in addition to the image, it only sends the message.
It literally still worked yesterday.
I also tried sharing random pictures from my image gallery but the post button is greyed out there as well.

No, it doesn't work even using the Apple Messages App and Mail, as well as sending a copy of a different type of file extension for the same art while using the Files app. Those also aren't as useful for my workflow and quadruple the time necessary compared to letting me just export the .PNG to Discord like I have been for over 4 years across both painting programs, including earlier in the same day.
Have you tried sharing the file/document using Mail or the Apple Messages App - instead of the unspecified messaging App that you are attempting to use?
As illustrated in your screenshot, the issue that you are experiencing is very likely with the third-party messaging App itself.
So this happened to my procreate, and it lasted for 3-5 days. (Tried resetting multiple times and ect, but nothing seemed to change this)
After a few days and is now the current issue as of last week, I noticed sharing TIFF files were available and I could share to discord again but now there were NEW issues:
1) PNG files or any files shared to Discord with transparent backgrounds would not work and give a white background.
2) any animated gif would just export and stay as a stiff one image file (first frame). Only MP4 seems to work, but not as it's intended purpose.
I might have missed other issues exporting to discord, but I have to now use iCloud to export any files with transparent backgrounds and is highly frustrating. Please resolve!
