Found suspicious file: ExitUpsellKeyValueStore

Hi everyone,

I recently found a file named "ExitUpsellKeyValueStore" in my documents folder. I wasn't expecting it and don't remember creating it.

Is this a legitimate Apple file, or could it be something malicious?

Any information about this file and what I should do would be greatly appreciated!

I was just double checking my security and privacy settings this morning and I ran across a file with only an acronym as its title and upon digging a little more it turns out this file has full access to my Macbook air M1. the title of the file is fmpd and its greyed out so I cannot change it. Can anyone tell me what this fmpd file is? and if its supposed to have full access and/or how I can go about finding its location and removing it if its not suppose to have access. A weird file that is turned on and allowed in the background I found out an item from unidentified developer. It’s in my login items and extensions and it’s turned on and allowed in the background. And I don’t recognize that file. The name is launch_common.sh. Says item from unidentified developer. Just wanted to make sure that it is not a malicious file. Infected file (or not)? Intego Virusbarrier (free version of Apple Store) has identified a file as an infected file XProtectRemediatorGenieo located in MacintoshHD/Library/Apple/System/Library/CoreServices/XProtect/Contents/MacOS/XProtectRemediatorGenieo I can see the file (by looking at the contents of the XProtect contents) and it says it was created on the same date as all the other files in the XProtect files (a week ago). Is anybody able to offer any advice any whether or not this is actually an infected file or a detection error. I am suspicious of the infection report (and now inclined to remove Intego) but would welcome any input. iMac Ventura 13.4
