Browse by Genre in Apple Music is missing

This morning, I realized under the Browse tab, if you scroll all the way down…the Genre option is now missing. Why would that be removed? Can we please have that back?

Also, I can only select Gospel via the Radio tab and under Stations by Genre. I do not need Apple Music to choose who I listen to. That is very dangerous. The service should not get to choose who I listen to…I should be able to explore and choose on my own.

What is going on? Can this please be fixed? I honestly would rather be wrong and this be a UX/UI issue where things were moved. I do not need an algorithm/AI choosing my music 24/7.

Looks like they moved "Browse Categories" to the Search function.

Hi,

Yeap, Apple Music has moved all the different categories and genres into Search.

Just click in the 'Search' field and you'll see them.

Having to use search is a much worse implementation. Seriously, how hard is it to just leave the **** link on the Browse page? Using search will NOT take you directly to the genre page, rather the genre shows up in the search results. Adding extra steps just makes the user experience worse than it already is.

Yes! I don't think people realize that Browse by Genres was so cool and vast…those are not the same under Search. There were some I’d never heard of or been exposed to without it. I enjoyed exploring there. Now, those genres get no exposure to people like me because I wouldn’t know what to search for.

I agree with many of the comments relating to the removal of genres as a browse selection.

The work-arounds don’t provide a reasonable solution.

Please return genres to the browse page and put it as selection at the top so users don’t have to scroll through multiple lines of Apple promoted products.
