How to move iMovie slideshows onto Toast 20 to burn to a DVD

Hi, I am using iMovie 10.3.5 to assemble photo slideshows these have been done successfully, the problem I am having is getting the iMovie slideshows onto Toast 20 Titanium version 20.3. to burn the DVD

I have attempted to do this numerous ways without success. I am sure that I am missing something simple but I cannot see it!!

Can anyone help me?

What, exactly, is the problem (or error message) you are getting when you try to import into Toast?

You *should* be able to export from iMovie to either MPEG4 (MP4) or QuickTime (.mov) and have Toast import it fine. However, in iMovie, DO NOT export with the "Best Quality" option because that will generate a QT .mov file using ProRes, which, as far as I know, Toast does not support.

Thank you for your reply.

I have ensured that I changed the “best quality” setting but still no success, and the strange thing is that I get NO error messages. The slide show appears to be in MP4 format so this would appear to be correct.

I have gone back over and over the sequence but still no success, I am obviously doing something wrong but I have no idea what so I hope you can give me some further guidance.
