I spent over an hour choosing a WHOLE bunch of pictures, movie clips etc to create an imovie. I chose magic movie but I didn't realize it would automatically cut off half of the pictures that were vertical?! Is there any way to convert it to a regular movie so I can edit and crop?

Hi,
I know of no way of cropping a photo in Magic Movie or of converting a Magic Movie to a regular movie project.
Try creating a regular movie project and importing one of your vertical clips into it. See if you can satisfactorily crop it. I wasn't able to find a way, but then I am not as familiar with iPhone iMovie as I am with Mac iMovie.
