Bootcamp not mounted and forgot password

This all started because I want to remove the windows partition I created on my iMac using bootcamp back in 2018. I haven't used this in years and want to unpartition my Mac. That said, I don't have the option to do this using Bootcamp Assistant because that bootcamp drive is listed as unmounted. When I try to mount it, it asks me to input the password to the bootcamp drive which I have stupidly forgotten from years ago. Is there anything I can do to (a) retrieve this password given that I can't get into windows because it's unmounted or (b) safely remove this windows partition/bootcamp drive without using Bootcamp Assistant?
