then the ipod is useless if she can't remember her credentials. You will run into icloud activation lock .How to remove Activation Lock - Apple Support
If you do actually mean the log in (to her iTunes Store account), then simply log out and start afresh with your details.
Otherwise, as razmee209 has stated, if it's a security lock (PIN, Activation Lock etc.), then it's a lost cause.
