logic pro 11 trial is still 10.8

I spoke to Apple support about this issue. The free trial web page says “download the latest version”. The first few people I spoke to didn’t really know what I was talking about. Eventually I was put through to someone who finally checked which version was available. Sure enough it is version 10.8.1. I was told that it can take some time to update the download. So why advertise it as the latest version!!!!

In the past, Trial versions were updated weeks or months later...

Thanks; no wonder I could not use the stem splitter; I realised it was 10.8.1. I take it that the trial will have started with downloading the present 10.8.1?
