Imovie missing Pinch To Zoom Replaced Ken Burns

I was using iMovie today and my normal flow to add a 9x16 photo into a timeline with a pinch to zoom is missing now. Now it has some Ken Burns message that at the beginning, you basically can set the picture to one place and then end the picture at another place. The problem is if you’re trying to take a 9x16 photo and put it into a 16 x 9 video you can’t shrink the photo to get it small enough to fit into the 16 x 9 without the pinch to zoom feature. Where in the world is this pinch to zoom now and why is it gone? I don’t need the Ken Burns junk.
