Forgot Screen Time Passcode

To Fix this For iPhone and iPad:

1. Navigate to Settings > Screen Time.
2. Select Change Screen Time Passcode and tap it again to proceed.
3. Choose Forgot Passcode? found at the bottom of the screen.
4. Input the Apple ID and its corresponding password that were initially used to establish the Screen Time passcode. If you have forgotten your Apple ID password, follow the prompts to recover it.
5. Set a new passcode and confirm it by entering it a second time to complete the process.

I’m confused :) is the screentime passcode for a child in the family account one set by the parents or the screen time code used for the actual device. I’ve been locked out and cannot change family settings - and already 9 failed attempts!!
