When I activate Siri and say call jared, it calls the jewelry store that is not in my contact list, I just got off the phone with apple and they said they don't know whats going on, I would have to create a work order and submit it to apple support. Very frustrating as it has been going on for about 2 months now.

Same with my phone for the last month or so.

I will say "call Pam McDonald", and Siri calls a phone number that belongs to an actual person named Pam McDonald, but not the Pam McDonald in my Contacts. If I add the term "mobile" or whatever phone tag the contact is associated with, it grabs from my Contacts.

This is the same for all of my contacts. Siri tries to pull from the internet first, unless I add what type of phone my contact is tagged with.

Mine has been doing the same thing for 3 months now. I have been to the Apple Store and to AT&T store...and I called Apple Support.....and no one can help. I am afraid that I may have to give up my I phone. It is truly not working for me. and I cannot get help. Frustrated.

I have been having the same issue for over a year now. I go to AT&T and they send me to Apple. I go there, and they send me back to AT&T. No one can solve this problem....so I'm afraid that I'm looking at new phones to buy......I'm sort of getting "done" with my iphone. And with having no help from either of the folks that have caused this.

Hello I had the same issue after restoring my backup to a newer iPhone and I fixed it by turning off the contacts from iCloud “you must have your contacts backed up to iCloud obviously”. It asked me to delete or keep on iPhone. I said delete them. I then reenabled the contacts and after they downloaded again and the list is complete. The issue was resolved.
