Mission Control and F3 not working

I have tried all methods of bringing up the Mission Control. F3, ctrl + up, swipe up with 3 fingers, swipe up with 4 fingers and opening the app itself from the Applications folder. Nothing seems to be working, this is also a recent problem. Before it stopped functioning, I had probably used the Mission Control around 4-5 minutes prior.

In addition to this, my F3 isn't working for any shortcut.

Other than the F3 and ctrl + up not working, this problem has occurred before (a couple weeks ago). I didn't feel the need to solve it immediately as at that time F3 and ctrl + up were still functioning and later on the problem "magically" solved itself. But now, nothing I do seems is able to bring up the Mission Control.

Try booting into Safe Mode and see if it works there. Then, restart normally and see if there is any change.
