Unable to type in a specific group in Messages

For some reason after the 17.3 or so ios update , i have one specific group chat that i text regularly in that i can’t type in. I mean can’t type as in the text box doesn’t appear it looks like i left the group chat, but i still get the new messages also im only able to text in that chat on my apple watch . I tried force restart, updating, turning imessages on and off, can’t seem to fix it still.
