Apple TV eARC support removed

I’m now on v17.4 for Apple TV, and it appears after latest update that eARC support has been removed from the Audio Output menu. Anyone else experiencing this

Apple TV eARC support is for Apple TV 4K (2nd generation or later) in combination with HomePod speakers, and the documentation says that it should still be supported. Nothing changed for this with tvOS 17.4. tvOS 17.4 has been out for 47 days, without similar reports.

Your issue does not appear to be about the software version.

It appears they removed support for Apple TV 4K 1st Generation. Frustrating. Worked fine until they removed it. I’ve been thinking Sonos or Sony for sometime. I will be replacing my home pods with something less frustrating.

I too am having this issue. Nothing has changed on my setup apart from the Apple TV updating. I have done everything including resetting the Apple TV to factory settings and still no luck. What happened?
