How to change Keyboard sounds within one song (with Backing Track)

I am trying to use Mainstage for both backing tracks and for keyboard sounds.

I want the ability to change keyboard sounds during each song without manually clicking within the program.

Ideally automatically (at certain times of the song) - but if that's not possible than via my midi keyboard.

Is this possible?
