I have several videos edited years ago in iMovie 6. Can they be upgraded to iMovie 10.3.8?

iMovie 6 projects cannot be upgraded to iMovie 10. However, a movie that was exported from iMovie 6 can be imported into an iMovie 10 project and edited there to a limited extent.
