Safari crashes when trying to print any web page

In Safari on my MacBook Air M2, attempting to print a page through the Print Page menu option or Command+P will consistently cause Safari to crash. The first time you try to print, the print window will open and printing will work, but the second attempt to print always causes a crash before the window can open.


I've tried disabling all extensions, clearing Safari's cache, and trying to print in Safe Mode, but these crashes continue to happen. They don't happen in other browsers like Chrome. I've added a crash log as additional text below.

I was having the exact same issue. Following the instructions here solved the problem for me. It works even if you don't have any printers installed.
