I deleted about 1400 pictures and videos on iCloud to free up space,....they are still on my iPhone

My iPhone storage got filled up to maximum capacity. Today I spent several hours deleting about 100 videos, and several thousand photos. I did this directly in iCloud using my notebook computer because it is easier and faster with the bigger touch screen. After completing the deletions My computer shows the lower reduced number of videos and pictures,....but my 2020 iPhone SE2 still shows the original number of pictures and videos that I had prior to deleting. I went into storage and deleted all the pics and videos permanently rather than leave them in the "will be permanently deleted in 29 days" mode. I rebooted both my phone and my computer, they are both connected to wifi,...and no change,...and my phone is NOT in low power mode.

How do I get my iPhone to recognize that I have deleted all the pictures and videos in iCloud and do the same on the my phone?
