Is my iPhone compromised ?

Recently three of my social media accounts, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn were hacked. Despite having two factor authentication turned on which requires a code from the authenticator app, there was unrecognized activity on all three accounts, and I was signed out on other devices. However, I still had access to my accounts as their passwords hadn’t been changed. Is it possible that my iPhone has been hacked?

The chances of actual technical hacking are miniscule if not zero …

… the chances of compromised credentials - often thru social engineering, lax personal security practices, or phishing - is significant and MUCH more likely.

Malware for iPhone exists, but is rare and targeted based on available evidence. Contrary to a reply above, the malware does not require jailbreaking. Though technically, the (very expensive) malware itself is a jailbreak.

I’ll assume the Apple ID is not (intentionally) being shared.

Common issues are password reuse, password compromise, and phishing. Here, I’d run Safety Check, and would enable Lockdown, and would verify that all devices linked to your Apple ID are recognized. I’d also verify your password-reset paths (phone numbers, email accounts, etc) are all secure and preferably with new and robust and unique passwords, and I’d also check for any added authorized users on your cellular account. Change your device passcodes too, on the off chance the compromise is very local.

Hey! How are you doing? The chances of your phone being "hacked" are remote in the extreme. Not even the FBI could hack an iPhone. What is more likely is you are seeing something that is normal behavior but you do not understand. You need to describe to us what makes you think your device is being used by another person. If anything is compromised, it's a lot more likely your ID, not the device itself.

Nope, there are no known hack/virus/malware/spyware for a non jailbroken phone.
